New Publication in Scientific Reports: Emotions and the Evolution of Cooperation
Our international collaborative research on the role of emotion expressions in the evolution of cooperation has been published in Scientific Reports.
The paper, titled “Evolution of indirect reciprocity under emotion expression,” presents groundbreaking research that explores how emotions influence cooperative behavior from an evolutionary perspective. This work, led by Henrique Correia da Fonseca, represents a collaboration between researchers from Instituto Superior Técnico and INESC-ID (Portugal), the U.S. Army Research Laboratory, the University of Southern California, and our laboratory.
